  1. you need to be with an adult! lol, airlines have diffrent age limits, when i went to salou, i had to fly with someone who was over 21,even tho im 18. some let you go with someone who is 18 ...eitherway none would let a 14 year old fly to america by herself. ...only if your parents  came with you to the airport, then someone would seat you on the plain, then at the other end someone would have to be there to pick you up (an adult) and a member of staff would actually walk you to them and check there  I.D! x

  2. america is not the safest place to be alone expecailly if ur forgein......

  3. America kicks a$$! Do whatever ya want here!

  4. I know in America they have numerous groups that you can travel with and they will take you around that also give you college credit when you go, but I don't know about Ireland. Look up online youth travel groups ireland online, or talk to your school about hosting a trip.

  5. thats not possible, until you are 18 you can't travel on your own. i'm 16 & wanted to go to magaluff next year with my friends, but we need someone 18 & over to come with us. hope this helps (: x

  6. it can be done but you would need a relative or someone to recieve you at the airport. There are forms to fill out that both your parents and the recieving person will have to sign for a minor traveling alone.

  7. seriously? On your own ? your too young. big country is america , its faaar to dangerous for u to travel on your own at your age.

  8. Its possible not reccomended but possible.

You need parental consent of course. Then you need a current up to date valid passport. Keep all tour travel fairs and tickets in order. Check with the airlines to see if they have age restrictions. You may need an adult to board you and pick  you up on the other end. You may need someone over 18/21 to fly WITH you also.

Other then that youll need to arrange transportation from the airpot to where you are staying. If you will be staying at a hotel its advised to have it prepaid assuming that since you are only 14 you dont have a credit card...you may also want to ask your parents for one you can use as well as travelers checks. They are just easier, and safer than cash. Easier to keep track of too.

Be safe and i have to say this im sorry but i hope you arent coming to America to meet with someone you met online. OK that said i feel better for mentioning it. Just be safe please.

  9. you could do the foreign exchange program but you would have to stay for longer than a week i think and if yo don't want to do that then your out of luck

  10. Yes, that is possible as long as it okay with your parents..also speak to a travel advistor...

the plane stewards sit with you !! on the airoplane

    Hope that helps ;)

  11. I hope you're not wanting to go over there to meet a boy/man off the net!!

You're too young. Your parents won't allow it and neither should they!

  12. yes i think it is possible. you would need ur parents accseption because they would have to book your flight. and there's something called accomidated flights i think or something. and its where someone that works at the airport goes with you. its pretty cool cuz you can skip all the long lines at the airport.  you would have to do that, because you need to be at least 16 to fly alone.

  13. you really need to give more information on what you are planning on doing in America.  I don't see anything wrong with coming over here by your self, I live in southern California and I went to northern California when I was about 15 all by myself, I stayed with a friend of mine that had moved up there. you can fly all by yourself at 14.  young children fly by themselves all the time, there might be an extra fee for children under 12, because the flight attendants pay extra attention to them.  I know of many situations where young children flew alone to visit their other parent or grandparent far away.

You should come here all alone.  It will be boring by yourself, and you will need someone at least 18 and a lot of places 21 or even 25 to get you a hotel room. as long as you have friends or family here you should be fine.

  14. Your too young to come here unless you have family, but other than that there is no one to show what is safe and you could end up getting lost.

  15. You'll be too young. You need parents/adults with you up until being 16 and from then til your 18th you need their permission.

  16. You might want to wait until you are ready.. If you have a place to stay (family's home) then that's good.. But otherwise if you don't have relatives there who are willing to take you in then it's going to be difficult to do everything by your own.

  17. Do you have someone to stay with cos you can travel alone but you need someone to collect you from the airport

  18. I'm 14 too, and I've come to Germany on my own. ( I live in england). I'm staying with a family, so maybe you could do that. But otherwise, staying in a hotel is illegal on your own. I hope it works out! I wanna go to America too!

  19. everything

  20. If you are going with other responsible adults then that should be ok. But just by yourself..........a 14yr old minor........NO!

  21. You're too young to go without parental supervision.

  22. So how are you going to pay for this trip?

  23. No not possible I don't think.

    You'll need a passport.

You'll need a ton of money for plane tickets and hotels.

Unless you have access to their bank account and you are good by yourself in large cities you've never been in, with traffic and bustling people, then drop the idea.

drop the idea even if you do have access to the bank account.

  24. No I do not think it is possible.  My son went to the States from the UK when he was 17 and was only allowed into the country as he was met by the family he would be staying with.

You are considered a minor and in need of adult supervision.

  25. I dont think so as i beleive on the green visa card that your required to complete on entry it asks you if your over 18 otherwise i think they require a parental slip or something along them lines, check with the US imigration on entry requirements.

  26. Its possible but not recommended. And what you need (besides a passport) depends on where in America you are going.

  27. Yeah

That's like how foreign exchange programs work

But you should have someone they trust to stay with and pick you up

  28. That is not a wise idea, unless you have family here that can watch you.

  29. I'm 16 and want my parents to go on holiday without me. Same old same old all the time.

Your too young to go away, wait till your about my age or 17, 18..

  30. Yes aslong as you aren't going completely by yourself? Is there going to be people with you? like a trip?

And also you need to be able to pay for it?

or are they paying for you?

    A passport?

    Lots of money?

    etccc?

  31. as an American i going to say, DO NOT COME TO AMERICA! you are to young to go traveling by yourself to a different country. also, you would need parental permission. plus, unless you want to risk a lot of harm you NEED to come w/ an adult.
