  1. not necessarily but most airlines require children under 15 to be an "unnaccompanied minor" which means your parents have to be with you and you have to pay a fee so there is no need for an id anyway.

    but if the airline does allow you to go alone when you're 14 you dont have to have one. it's really is better if you do just to prove to the people your only 14 and that you really are who you say you are but it can be a school id or even a copy of your birth certificate is just as good. bring that if your worried and you don't have an id of any kind just in case. : D


  2. yes - with security the way it is now days you will need id.  call the airline you are traveling with to find out what id they will accept from you.
