  1. Just watch the game instead of being one of the players who sits on the bench eating, or talking.  This is great if you are a reliever because after you're done warming up, check out the game for a while and see these things:

Where a strike passes (especially if he just lets one fly by)

Where he will swing and miss

And most important, if he gets a hit, where it was.

You may want to look for other things, but these are key.

If he watches a strike fly right by him, remember that spot, and use that spot as his weakness.  If he swings high at a low ball, or low at a high ball, remember that.

If he swings high at a low ball, you may want to throw a high ball to one of the spots he let the ball fly by him, then throw a breaker, or if you cant, just throw low next.

You may get used to following other things about the batter, too, and thats awesome, just watch the game study the places, and remember the number.  Good Luck.

  2. Whew, for a minute I thought you were going to ask how you can make money on-line.

I'm assuming you're a pitcher.  You should pitch to your strengths the first time you face each batter.  If somebody hits you, remember what you threw and try to throw something completely different the next time.  For instance, if they hit an low, inside fastball for a double then next time throw a high, outside fastball.  Or maybe an off speed pitch.  The best way to learn is by experience.
