Im 15, how can i lose weight?

Ok so im 15, 5'6 and about 150 pounds

im pretty chubby and am not pleased with my body at all

i dont fit into some of the clothes i like the way i want to fit in them and can never wear bikini's because im ashamed of my stomach... i know im probably sounding like any other girl my age, but i seriosly need to get into shape.

this past summer i gave up a lot of foods and have been eating mainly veggies and fruits and chicken once in a while and i began working out a bit more... i only lost 10 pounds in 2 months, is there any way i can lose weight faster? am i doing something wrong?

  1. take walks every morning thats what i do i wieghed 120 and in a month i lost 20 pounds!! so now 100!

  3. stop consumin sugar and fat thats essential then increase activity or work out. you can consume protein ,milk and some carbo

    u need to eat alot of protien but low carbs, this is found in tuna or other fish or just white chiken breast.

    high protien low carb/;calorie diets are the best

    exercise EVERY day

    at least 2 hours cmon

    start lifting weights as well, you may gain weight at first but its muscle, and u will look way thinner and in shape the guys be like DAAAAAM

    but that also depends on how your face looks i bet its nice though

  5. 10 pounds in two months is great! I know it might not feel great because you want to loose more. But loosing weight slow and steady is the best way. That way your skin shrinks normally and you don't have an overhang of it. Just eat all your food groups. Never skip out on one, you need all the vitamins from each food group (unless you are a vegetarian) and if you are get your proteins from beans, low fat peanut butter, nuts. You can look up the web to see what the food groups are and what portions to eat. You are already doing a GREAT job. Keep it up and don't get discouraged  cause its not coming off fast enough.  Oh and exercise is good for you. Find a sport you enjoy and go with it.

    i think that sounds a litle normal, maybe a littl less than average but still good

    being active is hugely important, if u can i say u shold go to they gym three tiems a week

    i kno its a lil expensive, and hte problmes is u need rides too, but if u CAN its rlly worth it because the machines tell u how many calories your using

    also, its annoiyng as h**l to count calories but if u give yourself a limit to calories/day (probably abotu 800 but id check it out online) then you should eat rlly well


  7. Eating less is not going to help in my opinion.

    Just retain a healthy workout plan and you should lose some more weight. And stay hydrated! and make sure you stretch and run alot. But ten pounds is a great accomplishment, so keep up the good work!

  9. you may be chubby, but you dont have tons of weight too loose. the less weight you have to loose the longer it takes to come off. the healthiest way to loose weight is slowly, and it's especially good because it stays off longer too. just remember eat everything in proportions. veggies may be very good for you but nothing is ever good in over excessive amounts. drink lots of water and eliminate pop if you haven't already. the only way too loose weight faster an keep it off longer is to exercise as much as you possibly can stand. good luck and hang in there i know it's hard!

  10. well, every girl does go through this stage. and around this age, well they say drink a lot of water and no fizzi drinks, you may have some but not all the time, cut back on food you eat for dinner instead of a full plate have like a bit less, wat heaps of fruit and exercise..like when you go to school walk to school. but just exercise and have water. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF, for it makes it worse, also do not let anyone upset you about your body, you should feel comfortable the way you are and be strong, you can do it, and i no you can. BE STRONG and DONT LET ANYONE BRING YOU DOWN  

  11. you too young to be thinking about it, but the ONLY answer is exercise ! You dont need to give up eating, just break down your main meals into smaller meals ! And if you eat healthier, its always good ! but your body needs all sorts of nutrition, and dieting never helps ! I recently went from 20 st, to 15 in a year, just down to 30-45 min of exercise a day !

  12. you are doing the right thing just don't forget to take vitamins that way your body is going to be strong enough to take the changes and don't get to obsessed with loosing weight or you might get sick from anorexia this disease can kill you and if you get it you are going to look

    way to skinny and if you become only bones.it wont be the way to go.

  14. 10 pounds in two months is a fine accomplishment and if you stay on that track you will being doing the most healthy thing possible.  Losing weight to fast is quite unhealthy.  Slow and steady wins the race.

    just keep doing what your doing, and keep increasing your work outs.

    10 lbs is a great accomplishment over the summer!

    you're only supposed to lose 2 lbs a week at the maximum,

    otherwise you risk gaining it back.

    I'm 16, I weighed 160 lbs a year ago after losing 40 lbs. Now I'm back up to 180 again because I lost it too quickly and I became depressed. Continue to lose weight slowly like I am, you'll love the results!

  16. Losing 10 pounds in two months is pretty good. Keep it up. The best way to lose weight and keep it of is modest exercise every day. Elevate your heart rate for 20 munites daily by walking or bicycling or whatever. If you can do that every day, you will never have a weight problem.

  18. its not easy to lose weight, i had to lose 10 lbs for wrestling this summer, it took me 2 months to do it while eating nothing but good food, i went out 1 night to a restaurant and had a lot of food and i gained everything back, try doing a lot of cardio workouts bc i didnt do that

  19. your 15 and already have to lose weight its not recommended to use pills because you are still growing and your body hasent fully developed yet so just go to the gym and run that's the safest route to take.  :-)

  20. First of all, your not overweight, and believe it or not, 10 pounds is alot in 2 months. I would do lots of cardio and strength training like running or lifting weights. Using your own body weight is good for your age, like doing push-ups or curl-ups. Don't forget a healthy diet with lots of protein! Hope this helps and good luck!

  21. Honesly, it sounds like your doing the right thing. You don't want to lose weight too quickly, that's harmful and unhealthy.
