Question:

Im 15. Would i grow more if I slept from 1am to midday, or if i slept from 10 oclock to 7am?

Is it just the hour's that count, or the time of day? By the way, i exercises regularly (I'm a rower) and eat the right foods, how can i optimize growth without taking "products?"

  1. I don't know. But I would think that the time of day wouldn't matter.


  2. good question apparantly the 10 to 7 one is more effective because of your bodys natural body clock but i dont think thers much scientific evidence to support this. as long as the hours are the enough 8* or more then you should be fine for growth.

  3. The time of day does not matter.  As long as you get at least 7 hours of sleep each night... then you should be fine and optimize growth.  I would reccommend 10:00 to 7am though, so your schedule is not mixed up any way because sleeping midday can confuse your brain.

  4. It's the hours that count but the time of day counts as well if your going to school. You don't want to end up tired. Teens should be getting 9 to 10 hours of sleep


  5. Hey,

    There is scientific evidence that sleep you get before midnight is more beneficial; i don't know if its just to do with the body clock, but it certainly has something to do with it!

    10-7 is much better than 1-12. . .trust me. . .i've tried!
