Im 15 am i allowed to get a tattoo, annnd....?

Question

And, would it be cute on my ankle, what is oen thing youd like as a tattoo, maybe an idea?

And, how much does it hurt?

you have to be 18, or else they will just ask your I.D

and THINK OF YOUR OWN TATTOO YOURSELF.

dont ask people what you think is cute, its a permanent thing

and it should be your own idea.

and it costs alot even with out the shading.

Well some tattoo parlors won't do it if you under 18 even with parental consent. That's how it is where i live, you can get piercings but not tattoos. But every state is different. My aunt has a tattoo on her ankle and she said it didn't really hurt to bad but in some spots it did. Because it's right on the bone. It also depends on how well you take pain. perhaps a small rose,heart,star or just some symbol??? get what you like after all it's what appeals the most to you since it's your body. hope i helped and good luck

you would definately have to have a parent or guardian with you when you get it. I would think long and hard before getting a tattoo your only 15 your mind could change in 3 years when you become an adult or when you get way older and tattoos are permanent unless you want to pay thousands of dollars to get them taken off which is 10xs more painful then getting one in the first place.

you are a little young. but if your parents say yes and they take you then it's all good. I got my first one on my shoulder blade, it's a black rose. it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Now the ankle may hurt only because it's more near the bone. I'm getting another black rose on the other shoulder blade next and then something in between them both.

Honey, please don't do it.  All the laws have changed, and at your age so do your ideas, you may change your mind within a few months.

I know I sound old fashioned, but actually it is illegal for you to have a  tattoo, even with Parental consent.  

No decent Tattoo Palour should touch you, you will get a sleazy one though who is only thinking of $$$$$$

I work with a Tattooist, as I am a Body Piercer and the amount of people who come in to have their old ones covered it is amazing, cause they were about your age, and within that time frame the ink has spread and faded.

But if you are content on getting one, put it so no one can see it, and you know guys so hate tatts on young girls, they don't find it attractive at all.

I'm not being mean, I am trying to help you.

Please think very long and hard about it.

At 15, you would absolutely have to have a parent or legal guardian with you at the tattoo shop. To do it alone, you'd have to be 18.

I have three tattoos - they hurt a little, but not too bad. Its a personal thing though, my pain tolerance is probably different than yours. To me, it felt like a sunburn, prickly and stinging, but not painful.

I've always liked them behind the ear on the back of the neck.

Don't Do It!!!

MANY things that appeal to you now, will be all but forgotten when you get older,... that is UNLESS you have to face a "Hello Kitty" tattoo every day for the rest of your life!!

You will regret it!  Trust me on this.
