Im 15 and i really want a summer job.?

Question

me and my friend are both 15 and we really want to get a job for over the summer so we can make our own money. neither one of us has had a job before. is there anywhere that would hire a couple of 15 year olds? if we had our parents sign some papers for us giving us their permission could we be hired?

Taco bell hires at 15, and some small family owned shops might hire you. There are so many child labor laws it can be hard to find work anywhere at your age. good luck on your job hunt

It really depends on the company on whether they hire kids under 16

Some places to check

Ice Cream Parlors think Cold Stones or Baskin Robbins

Sign Twirling- Sort of boring but those guys make alot of money

Also check with family friends and neighbors anything that would be "under the table work" ( not official or taxed)

If you like coldstone ice cream you could get a job there. also try a theme park like Six Flags. They hire younger people especially over the summe. Then you and your friend could get into the park for free. Its a great first job trust me..... been working at Six Flags Magic Mountain since i was 14...... im 21 now. Good Luck!!!!!

I know that family businesses hire at 15, and you will probably need working papers. I worked at a family farm market from 15-18, and it was a great job. hope that helps!

yes, you can get a job, but unfortunatley you can only work abotu 20 hours each week, mcdonalds will hire you, most grocery stores will hire you, or just call a couple places and ask what the age minimum is.

try like dairy queen or taco bell. BUT get your food handlers permit that will help a bunch. my first job was a atv shopp.. loved it try like honda or kawasiki polaris yamha ect places too.

go to a local rec. facility and try to get them to let u and ur friend be counclers at a camp there. itll be fun to work with younger kids, and they dont have to be that young anyway. they could be like 12 yr olds and u could even make friends with some of them probably. being a camp councler for littler kids that live in ur own city would defenitly be the best, and funnest, job 4 u guys.

Wal*mart, Culvers, McDonald's & Dairy Queen are about the only places that hire 15-yr olds. Alternatives are baby-sitting or yard work.

Thats old enough to be employed. I got my first job as a dishwasher at that age. Apply to restaurants. the kitchen environment is a great place for a high school job
