  1. Your contridicting your question.....youve come from wanting to leave school, then work full time and now do year 11 and 12??

where does a horse come into these decisions!!?

  2. I think it would be a good idea to sit down with your parents and your school guidence counsellor and see what your options are. I would at least finish your Junior Certificate. Even if school is hard right now it will finish soon, theres less than 6 months left!!! I moved around alot and went to 4 different high schools and the one i was in for Year 10 was the worst. (I went to schools in both NSW and QLD)I really got picked on in that school and life sucked big time, lucky none of the other high schools were like that!!! But yea, I didnt really know what to do when i didnt have any good friends there so i used to just scoff down my lunch and go 'hide out' in the library and do my homework and assignments and stuff in there. It worked out good, i aced my exams and my grades were good AND i had all av after school to do what ever i wanted then - hang out with non school people and my animals and do other stuff i was working on.

Map out whats right for you in the long term and what you think you want out of life and navigate from there, dont make any decisions out of desperation. Plus the pay youll get on a junior apprenticship is pretty S****y so dont use that as your desider. What ever you think you want to do as a career follow the path for that. I guarantee you when school is all over and you have to live your job and your choices everyday, whatever sucked real bad at school will be long forgotten. I know its hard when daily life is h**l right now for you but think of yourself and be strong for what you want.

Theres lots of options out there, and some trades are great careers, just choose it becasue thats what you want and not because your trying to get out of something else. Goodluck with your choices ;)

  3. How do you expect to go to year 11 and 12 without going to 10?

IDK what you want us to tell you because I doubt your parents will allow you to drop out for a horse.

  4. I know from experience that school is h**l but dropping out is not going to make it any better. Did you know that you now need a highschool education to work at McDonald's? That just goes to show you need an education to get by in this world.

I highly doubt your parents will let you drop out for a horse. And besides. You only have 2 more years. Just grin and bear it.

  5. honestly i know how you feel but its only another year , just stick it out of you will regret it because the only way you are going to be able to get a career to support your beloved horse is to get through school and get a decent job because there are very limited opportunities for a kid without a high school degree. its hard enough for a university graduate to get a good job these days never mind a high school degree.

  6. im not sure of the laws in Australia. But is it legal for you to leave school and work? I think you should really stay in school but get a part time job on weekends and after school. And maybe get a full time job during break. LIke spring break, or summer break.

  7. Sorry i can't help you as i don't know the laws in other countries on how long you got to stay in education for
