Question:

Im 15 and i want to loose my gut?

I've been working out all summer i've built alot of arm muscles and leg but for some reason i still have a gut my step dad says it's because i stay up at night do my exercises in the morning/night and then sleep all day[i also eat at night] any ideas on what i could do?

ps. i own a total gym and ab lounge[which is ****]

  1. yea there is it seems as if you havnt been doin any cardio if your gaining muscle which is very good cause muscle helps burn more calories. however you need to do cardio. running is a very good start an something you should try is running fast then slowing down an keep repeating this process it helps you lose weight faster cuz your tricking your body to burn more calories rather than staying at a steady pace which isnt as good.

Well first of all you are 15.  I dated a smokin hot girl in college that showed me pics of her when she was your age and she was, well....kinda fat.  Your body is still figuring out where it's going to go.  Your step dad is not a total idiot in thinking that eating late then sleeping late is bad for you.  Eating late and then going to bed is bad for you.  Without going into too much detail, your body is used to digesting food while you are standing up, so when you lay sleep after eating, the food doesn't really digest in your stomach, it just kind of rots in there.  Working out in the morning is good if that works for you, but don't eat too late.  If you do eat late go for a walk and help things digest.  The best thing to lose your ponch is to do a lot of cardio and stay away from foods that list "corn syrup" as the first ingredient.  Don't stress too much though, you are at the age where your body is all whacked out
