Im 15 and im traing to be a firefighter. i get 4000 dollars when im done, car or bike?

i think a street bike would be good cuz of the gas and there cheap. this would be my first vechical. should i get a car or a bike? and if a bike what kind? i want a bike that gets good mpg thanks!

Not all the bikes do good on gas, plus very dangerous too. Used car at that price could bring you headaches. If use them as a down payment, and plan to keep working, 'CAR' I would say. ~_~

I don't think a bike would be the best choice.  They are not practical and very unsafe, especially for young drivers.  I would save the money for a decent car, since anything you'll get for $4k is going to be pretty crappy.  Keep in mind, just because you'll have $4k to purchase the car, will you have the money to pay for the insurance, gas, and maintenance?
