I`m 15 and i`ve been the height of 5 foot 4 and a half for a year now and i havent grown! have i stoped growin

Question

i have been 5 foot 4 and a half for a year and i havent grew atall does this mean i have stoped growin and this will be my adult height?

is this height short? or tall? or normal?

You may grow a bit more, but you've probably stopped.

5'4" is on the shorter end of 'average' for an adult woman, so you're fine. (I'm 5'3" and manage just fine.)

My mom is 5'3" and my dad is 5'12". I turned out to be 5'7".  Everyone comes in different sizes. My friend is only 4'9". I'd say you're average.

I have been 5'2 since about the sixth grade and I'm a sophmore in college now.

I think its on the shorter end.  Average/short. Thats coming from a short person though so I don't really know. haha

They usually say that three years after you get your period, you're probably done growing.

i was like that then i finally grew after a little over 2 years. you still should be growing, sk your doctor. it's not short, the average height of a woman is 5'5

Yep that's probably as far as you are going to get.  How tall are your parents?  If they are short then you will probably be short also.  But if everyone around you are 7 feet talk then you may have some more growing to do.  Your pediatrician can usually tell you what your size will be because they chart it from birth.

You haven't stooped growing though, as you age your bodies growing process slows down...you stop growing around 18/19 yrs old..and sometimes even older.

your growth plates stay open typically until you are around 18ish, which leaves potential for more growth, but really just look at you mum and dad, if they are around your hieght then you might be done growing. No problem with that, i think 5 ft 4 is great! Im 6'0 and would love it if I could give you a few inches of my own! You just have to embrace what you got! and you could wear heels too!!

Yes you probably have stopped growing. I'm almost 16 and I stopped growing at 5 feet! Be thankful that you are at an average height!

You are slightly short, but not to worry.

The average height for a 15 year old is 5'6". Although, you can keep growing till about the age of 18.. so im sure you will continue to grow.

As well, at 15, you are probably not one hundred percent done puberty, so I would expect you have a couple more growth spurts left in ya!

most girls stop growning when they turn 15 so ive heard. example when i was in 7th grade-9th grade i was 5foot1 then when i turned 15 i had my quinceneria (a 15th bday party for latina's and latinos) i grew 2 inches so im 5foot3 now and i have stopped growing aparrently..

it depends on how tall your parents are.... then that will determine how much taller you will be sweets...

Considering your a female, 5'4 isnt that short.. The last thing I think guys want is a girl taller then them..

Although there's advantages to being tall there's advantages to being your height as well.

You could have stopped growing but you could also have just not had a growth spurt.  You do have some more time before you'll most likely stop, don't get too upset.  I stopped growing in the 7th grade at a whopping 5'2.
