  1. Take a deep breath & relax.  As others have wrote, your confidence will come with time.  Until you get the confidence, avoid any congested area.  Keep to quiet country roads & small towns.  Speed doesn't matter as much , but do have your 4ways on if can't do near minimum speed, so other drivers can prepare to get around you.  Practice parking, backing, etc. before going out on the road.  Drive defensively to reduce your chances of being in an accident.  Take a break if stress gets to you.  If your confidence level isn't built up with enough practice, say 2months or so, consider taking some time off to get your head straight.  I was 16 & 1/2yrs old before taking drivers ed & I don't regret it one bit.  Good luck!!

  2. There is no law that says you have to start driving at 15.  If you are that scared, you can wait until you are older.  No one is going to hold a gun to your head (and if they do, crashing the car is the least of your problems).

  3. Confidence will come in time.

  4. At the end of the day, what gona happen is gonna happen.

If your carefull and if you dont show off and try to impress anyone by driving fast or driving silly then you'll be fine. If sombody hits you then claim on their insurence.

With the speed and the lines thing, i would reccomend starting on a quite street, where you can go up and down 5-6 times getting faster and faster (keeping in the limit).

And regarding lines, well if you try and keep roughly in the middle, so if you have a medium size car then about 1/2 a metre from the middle then you should be fine

    Hope that helped!!!
