Okay well I want to start working but..the thing is...I'm terrified of people! Haha well not "terrified" but I'm very shy!

So i'd rather have a job that's sorta independent.

Any realistic ideas please?

Oh and no: baby sitting (im not fond of children..heh)

Thanks! =)

  1. while its always good to face those fears, you can however try some internet jobs from home if you have some freelancer skills such as copywriting, graphics, or webdesign.

  2. You sound a lot like me! I didn't get my first "real job" until I was almost 19 because I was afraid of even simple social interactions with strangers, and even then, I had to have my step-dad beg a manager friend of his to hire me. I was so nervous in interviews that I was a total mess and always completely botched them, and couldn't get hired on my own! I was eventually diagnosed with severe social anxiety disorder.

Anyway, enough of my problems! You might want to try paid surveys. You definitely won't get rich or anything, but they're great for making a little extra pocket money. Just don't join anything that asks for any credit card info or your SS#, or any site that asks you to pay even a penny. The more personal info they want, the more likely they're a scam, and if they ask for any money upfront, they're DEFINITELY a scam. Why would they ask for money if they were supposed to be paying you? The legit sites usually ask for only your name, address (to send the check), and sometimes your phone number (but it my experience, they never call).

I have a ton of info about my favorite paid survey site here: http://easyandfreemoneyonline.wordpress....

I've made almost $70 there since July 28th (when I joined), and I just got my very first check on August 22nd! And believe me, I was skeptical right up to the moment I opened my mailbox and found it there. I think the whole neighborhood probably heard my shocked yell, because I honestly never expected to get it, and then there it was!

  3. for shy person i think working at bookstore or library maybe one of the option

  4. apply in your local fast food restaurant, doing sandwiches was one of mi first jobs and I was shy too.
