  1. child labor laws don;t let you work much of anywhere until your 16th birthday - that's life

  2. The best way to get a job is to be prepared. First of all, check the labor laws of your state concerning 15-year-olds who want to work. (One of the best ways to get help in this area is to look up the office of your state representative in the phonebook and give them a call. They'll usually be glad to find out the answers to such questions for you. After all, they know you'll be voting in only three years.)  Often you can get working papers by age 15. If you can, bring those papers with you when you go looking for a job.

Second, make sure you are presentable. Someone responsible for hiring people at a store will always be looking for people who appear and act trustworthy. They also want people who will make a good impression on their customers, and that usually means dressing neatly, looking sharp, speaking clearly with good grammar, and having a conventional, "respectable" haircut. If you look like a punk rock musician or dress like a 'gangsta' you're probably not going to have a lot of luck, unless you want to work at a specialty store whose clients like that look.

Next, go to a store or shop that employs young people. Large variety stores are good and, like fast food restaurants, are always looking for competent help. If there's a national chain like Wal-Mart in your town, do some homework and find out whether that company hires people your age who have working papers. However, I hope you paid attention in math class, because stores are usually selling something and therefore that's often the one kind of competence stores are especially looking for. When I was 15 I walked into a variety store, told the manager I was looking for work, and he handed me a math test. When I scored 100 he gave me a job on the spot. If you're one of those kids who always believed that math wouldn't be important in the "real world," you're in for a rude awakening.

Also, don't turn up your nose at menial or low-paying jobs. Remember, if this is your first job the most valuable thing you're going to receive isn't money -- it's experience. Once you have work experience and a good recommendation from your previous employer, finding your next job will be a breeze in comparison.

Finally, have a positive attitude, be friendly even if you're turned down, and don't become discouraged. 99 rejections don't matter if you're offered a good job on the 100th try.

  3. if you have internet

    your all set

    you can take online surveys

they send you a check every months

im 14 and made about 50 dollar already

  4. Most states have minimum age requirements of 16. Wait until your birthday and go back to apply for a job again.
