Im 15 live in nj and ride my jet ski. do u no what happens if i get caught by the coast guard???

i know you need to be 16 to drive a pwc in nj. but as a 15 year old i ride sometimes.

i was curious though what are the consequences if you get caught under age??? i would like to know if it is a fine or if it even involves your drivers license beeing suspended.

any help on what happens in this sittuation is appreciated

Did you know the coast guard is a division of the Department of Homeland Security?  You may never get your machine back.

they impound the PWC and give a $500 fine.it happend to my cousin.it could affect your license.depending on your state and what beach.

Would you drive your moms' car to New York?   It's about the same thing.  However, I think the Coast Guard guys are pretty cool and I think they would be more concerned that you were waring a life jacket, and operating it safely.  So, they would issue a warning and make you get off the water.
