I was actually a carhop at Sonic for my first job when I was 15 and 16.  I am 26 now.  They paid minimum wage plus you got to keep the tips.  I know I averaged like $10/hour, which was very good for being 15.  However, now that Sonic is putting in drive thru windows, that probably cuts back on the tips.  Oh and you said fun.  Can't really help you there.  You may like it if you like the people.

When you're 16 you can get a job almost anywhere except movie renting places and music stores, just go out and apply everywhere.
