  1. brush & floss daily.  see your dentist regularly.  your dentist can paint your more difficult teeth with a sealant.

  2. Have you talked to him/her about bleaching your teeth?  And whatever you're doing to cause the brown stains--cola, ciggies, whatever stains your teeth--it's time to give it up.  If you have to drink iced tea or soda, drink it with a straw so it only hits your back teeth--so says my dentist.  It also keeps the acid from the drink off your front teeth.

I know you brush twice a day, but if you don't floss twice a day, you're still going to have problems.  If you don't like stringy floss, get an Oral B hummingbird flosser.  It's tiny, it gets between teeth and at your gumline, and you can just sit and read your homework and floss at the same time.  Given the choice between the two, teenagers usually prefer the Oral B thing.  You can get it at Target or the drug store.

There are different kinds of bleaching--have him explain them and see which is best for you.

I also think there are much better mouthwashes, such as Reach restoring mouthwash.

  3. i would floss and maybe use whitener......but the way ur teeth r has to do with genetics.....just keep doing wut ur doing dude

  4. - chew xylitol chewing gum after meals (!!) xylitol is magic

    - minimise the number of times your teeth are exposed to sugar

    - don't snack

    - floss daily

    - brush lightly and for 2-3 minutes once or twice daily

    - use a non-alocholic mouthwash (NOT listerine) with fluoride

    - no coffee, black tea, ciggarettes, wine, etc

  5. FLOSS. Floss like a madman, after every meal. Avoid eating too many sugars. 1 dose of sugar affects the teeth for about 20 minutes, so if you're going to eat sugar, eat it all in one sitting (which is ANOTHER reason why jawbreakers are bad for your teeth). Lay off the cola too. I'm sure you've heard that cola can clean dried blood off of a road; it's because it's EXTREMELY acidic and isn't good for your teeth.
