Im 16 and i hate that nobody knocks on my bedroom door when its closed, i swear im in my room quiet, then BANG

the door flys open, and almost gives me a heart attack, it pisses me of so much, and i tell them to knock, so this is what they do, they knock while opening the door, not giving me time to respond, does anyone else think this is rude and annoying?

yea... been there done that! there isnt anything you can do... people will continue to do that.

Well yeah it's rude. Lock the door or tell them to knock and wait for an answer.

This drives me crazy. My mom and stepdad like barge in, my brother is the only one who actually knocks. Like what happens if I'm changing.., I try to set the examply by knocking on their door too when I want to come in but it hasn't worked yet.

In there eyes...they can do whatever they want, cause its their door...their roomm...their everythingg....I guess privacyy doesntt matterr....here....get a lock on your bedroom...and dont give your parents the extra keyy...problemm solvedd......lol (:

yes, you deserve your privacy,  we have a rule in our home, if the door is closed, you must knock and be asked in.....we started this  very early with all children.... .

Maybe if you haven't already, put up a sign 'KNOCK BEFORE ENTERING'? It just might work. Or you could talk to your family about it, like have a family meeting and tell them how it makes you feel?
