Im 16 and i plan on getting my car next year any advice

i am getting to the point that im going to get a used car to get to school and work and fun. . .i really like CUV(crossover utility vehicle) do any one has any suggestions to wat i may need to start off with. . .i think that the 2005 ford escape is nice but is there any other trucks that i should consider beside the toyota rav4. . .i think thats ugly. . .and money is a object. . .4 a use car im trying to stay 10,000 and below. . .and it dont matter about mpg

avoid the Rav4, the 4 cyl engine is underpowered, the spare tire on the back is a hazard and the side opening rear gate is awkward.

Honda CR-V is superior to the Rav4

you should deff consider a jeep wrangler. I just got one last month because i just got my license and i love it... They are so fun and great to take to the beach or just drive around.

i personally am saving up for a ford escape. i turn 18 in a week and a half and im driving a 97 pontiac grand am that only has 81000 miles on it, no power windows but power locks and cruise control, so it has things i need. you want to get something that is good enough to get you from point A to point B but also something that will last. you dont wanna go out and get the fastest car or the priciest car you can afford because if you have an accident and its ur fault, there went all of your money down the drain. so stick with something simple until you get some pratice in then when your my age or even older then start looking at the nicer cars
