Im 16 and im 5'9. will i still grow

My friend said that his doctor told him that you stop growing after 2 years of having to shave your face. is this true? cause i started shaving two years ago and i really hope i still grow? Also my dad is 5'10ish and my mom is 5'6.

well boys can grow till they are 18 or 19 .. but it depends on your genes of your family your parents arent real tall so you might be done growing.

you are still growing you most likely wont stop until your 18 and shaving doesn't determine when you will stop growing
