  1. You don't even need to take lessons to become a pianist. I play piano (okay not prfessionally or anything, but pretty well!) and I can barely read notes. It may just come to you!

But yes, if you want to take lessons, starting now would be great.

  2. Yeah, it all depends on how much effort you put in it and if you can really do the job well. It also helps  if you take as many different music classes in school so that you get more experience.

  3. Sure!

Keep in mind that some of the best players have no formal training at all.

  4. Sure....why not....I play and teach classical guitar and the woman that I admire the most, ( to me she's the greatest woman guitarist  in the world) her name is Liona Boyd, and yes this is the way she spells her name, everyone thinks the i should be an e, oh well. But to get to the point she didn't start until she was fourteen.....I've read her bio....." In My Own Key". To hear her play just go on youtube and type in her name and request this piece....Asturias......you'll be blown away !!!!!!! And by all means go for the lessons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. ow of course u can why not? my sister's teacher started learning piano at 30  and now she is 75 and she plays piano amazingly amazing

  6. Yes you can alot of people didnt learn how to play the piano at an early age. It doesnt matter how old you are its all about how good you want to get. So if you want to be a great pianist then its fine if you start learning now?
