  1. No its not too late!!!

You are still very young and have plenty of time on your hands to learn several martial art styles :)***

  2. As a 16 year old you can probably join up with your high school wrestling team, after all most of the greats in the UFC have been all American wrestlers at one time.  If you don't want to join your wrestling team BJJ gyms are a dime a dozen now, you can join one of them and improve your ground game which is one of the most important aspects of mma.

  3. You should start out taking karate classes. If your high school has a wrestling team you should also join that. If you could wrestle in college that would be good. The Ice Man Chuck Lidell wrestled in college. After that there are MMA clubs or sort of like schools that you can join.

  4. nope

i think what alot of people do is get into mma through boxing as well

but having another martial art helps.

take some boxing and grappling untill you can find a place that does mma

  5. have someone punch you in the face. then ask yourself if you want to be a cage fighter. its got a little more sting than the movies make it out to be...

    EDIT

that was kind of a d**k thing to say on my part...i'm not a good drunk

    a. you're not too old at all

    b. i would start off with a sport like boxing or wrestling. both will build conditioning, and both focus on basic body movements and guards

  6. its never too late grasshopper!

but seriously, try to find an mma gym in your area, if you can't find one, try looking for a tradition martial art to start out in -muay thai kick boxing or jui-jitsu maybe, or even join your high school wrestling team.  a lot of mma fighters started out as college wrestlers

there's lots of options i think, and if you're serious about training and putting in the effort, 16 is definately not too late.
