  1. Are you the Maid of Honor? It is usually the responsibility of the Maid of Honor to plan the bachelorette party as well as the bridal shower.

If you are the Maid of Honor then I would suggest getting some other bridesmaids involved that are her age. A lot of the times people will go out to clubs, bars, etc...which you are obviously to young to participate in.

However, it really is up to what the bride wants. For instance, I wanted to just do a girls night in. I didn't want to go out to the bars or clubs and get really drunk, stupid, etc. So, my maid of honor planned an evening in at her house. She got a bunch of alcohol, silly games, etc. and everyone had a great time...and no one had to worry about driving home drunk.

Enlist the help of the other bridesmaids. Ask them about maybe getting a hotel room or if you can have the party at their house. Then they can buy the alcohol, etc.

Or, maybe you can have your sister go out with her friends for a little bit, then come back to the house for some games, drinks, food, etc.

Basically, before you plan anything check with the bride - she will point you in the right direction.

  2. yea i think your a little too young to be planing one

  3. The best bachelorette party I ever heard of was thrown at a really fun dinner theatre that was all about love and weddings with the girls. Then everyone went to a really pretty restaurant (on the rooftop) and had cake and danced. There was nothing bad or naughty about it and the bride got fun presents.

Another one I liked was the whole group was wearing cowboy hats and jeans and a nice white shirt. I think the hats were only $5 at costume stores. They looked so cute all of them!!!

    All the best :)

  4. That's sweet of your sis to want you to plan her bachelorette party, hon, but you might want to get some help from some of her friends that are her age.  Most bachelorette parties are usually a little raunchy and "adult," involving booze, nightclubs, and male "exotic dancers," but since you're going, I'd say you should plan something sort of kid-friendly, like maybe an all-girl trip to the amusement park, or a spa day where you can all get your nails done.

  5. Hi,

Well, I am getting married on the 9th of this month and some of my bridesmaids are throwin me a fun bachelorette party. Here are some rules to live by! Make sure you know what kind of party your sis wants. If she wants conservative, maybe go to the spa or have a night at home with some fun girly games and movies. But if she is a little on the wilder side, I'll give you some hints as to what I am doing. My girls and I are going to someone's empty house and ordering pizza, and then hanging out; we're gonna wear some kinda s**y little pj's and they got me a bunch of gifts and games from Spencer's! They are also gonna make a bunch of tasty non-alcoholic mixed drinks. I assume that if she's havin you plan it, she doesn't want alcohol and strippers, so it's fine if it doesn't include that; mine doesn't either. So, Spencer's is great and slightly embarrassing which is fun; maybe get her a sash that says bride to be or a cheap veil, and talk to her friends and people who have thrown these parties before to get some good ideas! Above all, have a great time and don't be afraid to get just a little crazy ; )

  6. I think that you should ask people of her age and her friends what they think and find out what she likes because you could be traditional and plan for her to go clubbin n drink or you could plan for her to go get a spa treatment or a day out with the girls.

    Best of luck :)

    xx

  7. How fun~!!

A bachelorette party is a way for the bride to have all her closest friends and wedding party members (bridesmaids, maid of honor) together before the wedding to celebrate her upcoming marriage.

Since you are a little too young to hit the bars, I would suggest doing a girlie pajama party...one where everyone gets to do their nails, facals, make up...stuff like that.  And, as a gift, everyone has to bring a pair of pajamas for your sister the bride.

You could go rent a bunch of movies (13 going on 30, Dirty Dancing), get a BUNCH of really ugly nail polish colors, nail polish remover, tons of snacks...stuff like that!  Just have FUN with it!

Overall, just make sure your sister is on board with it and everyone who is invited to the party is invited to the wedding.

  8. I agree that is sweet and thoughtful to plan it but usually those type of parties are spent drinking, dancing, s*x toy/gag gifts and bar hopping.

In this case maybe plan a spa day perhaps? Or even dinner at her favorite fancy resturant and have a total girls night out? Then perhaps rent a fun hotel room and chill in the room or by the indoor pool and just be girls!
