  1. from what i heard, you need to have someone over 21 with you if you are a teen.

  2. Sorry, you cant. Your friends can go on any of the Disney Cruises without a parent, but you cant. Min age to be alone on Disney is 18. Other major cruise lines is 21

You probably will need permission from your parents if you take the plane to another country and the airline would want your parent to find somebody to pick you up over there. Some countries might not even let you in without your parent.

  3. I'm sorry to tell you but most cruises are catered to 21 and over. I'm trying to remember if people under 18 were let into the clubs which I think maybe they were but if your under 18 which you are good luck; You cant even sneak in. you'll be stuck in the kids clubs. Then that would suck because your friends will be bothered by this or end up leaving you out and it won't be fun.

Besides you have to be 25 to book a room, maybe you guys should think of another type of trip to take... Cruises are a blast but there really not that fun to teenagers because they are catered more to young adults... Sorry.

  4. You have to be at least 21 to 25 years old to go on a cruise without a parent or guardian. You also have to have some finances like a major credit card set up too. This will cover all expenses you may incur while on a cruise.

  5. Between 21 and 25 depending on the cruise line.  We just got back and wanted two cabins.  One for us parents and the other for our 2 teenaged daughters.  The only way we could do it is if a parent was registered in each stateroom.

The only other possibility is a school group.  My nieces HS choir went on a cruise but then they had adults with them.

  6. Most mass market cruiselines require at least one person in the cabin to be 21 and Carnival is 25. So, sorry, no.

  7. First you AND your friends would need to have someone age 21 or older to book the cruise and to accompany you in the cabin.  That is the rule for all cruise lines except Carnival which requires a person age 25 or older to accompany you.

Second, If you are under age 21 and not traveling with your parents you will need their written permission in the form of letter signed by them and notarized stating that they give you permission to travel on the cruise with ........ (whomever it is).  If your friends are under age 21 then they will need the same type permission letter.

Here's what Royal Caribbean Cruise line's web site says about minors:

"   Adults who are not the parent or legal guardian of a minor traveling with them must present an original notarized letter signed by the child's parent(s), authorizing the adult to take the child on the specific cruise, supervise the child and allow emergency medical treatment to be administered.

Please note: An individual's age on the date of sailing determines his or her status for the entire cruise vacation. Royal Caribbean International does not accept reservations for student groups. Please consult a travel agent for Royal Caribbean's group policies"
