Im 17 and need to move to Canada from the US is it legal without a parents approval?

Ok not to be an *** but can people read it says to Canada from the US.

The simple answer is no, you have to be of legal age in Canada to move here by yourself, with or without parental permission.  The exception would be if you were coming to attend a university or college however you would require the permission of your legal guardian.  This is generally true of most countries, they will not accept you unless you are of legal age in their country.

  3. Not unless you are emancipated.  You can't even visit the states without both their permission.

  4. I don't think you can until you're 18.  I'm assuming you have a plan for where to stay, how to survive, etc?  How long til you're 18?  Best to wait - otherwise you'd be a runaway and the people you stay with in Canada could be charged with corruption of a minor or, if you have a criminal past, harboring a fugitive, etc.  Even as an adult, you can't just move to another country - legally - without the appropriate paperwork.

  5. Why would you want to move to the states? Canada is soo much better!
