  1. I think you would need permission letter from your parents as he is not a relative. The immigration would want to be satisfied you are not running away. Are you????

If I were you i would get a letter giving permission for you to travel with your boyfriend. Making sure they put their names, address and contact phone number on the letter.

  2. i think you have to get a letter with your parents permission because he's not a family member of yours.

  3. Call the airlines you will be traveling with... Each airlines has their own policy regarding minors flying...

Age of consent is 18.... To book your own ticket without any sort of parental consent, you have to be 18.

Flying with your parents knowledge and consenting is a good idea. If you don't  , you could be considered  a "runaway"....  I would advise you to get your parents consent . Carry a letter of thier consent.... You may even need to have it notorized. Be sure to include all the necessary information on it...Names, address, contact numbers, additional contact numbers, a neighbor, brother sister(age 18 or older) in case your parents cannot be reached in an emergency.

  4. I think that you are allowed as your boyfriend is 18. Just to be sure why not ring up the airport you are planning to fly from and ask just to be sure, as you will be gutted if you get there and you are not allowed.

    Hope this helped =]

Good luck and enjoy your holiday! =]

  5. The answer is going to largely depend on where you live and where you are going.  Most airlines in the US consider 17-year-olds as adults who can travel on their own, so there will be no issue there.

The issue that could potentially arise, though, is a legal one -- in many jurisdictions, it is illegal for an adult who is not a parent to take a minor (which a 17-year-old may or may not be, under the law of your jurisdiction) out of the state or country.  You'll definitely want to take into account where you're going, as well as the laws of your jurisdiction, to get a better answer as to the legality of this type of travel without parental consent.
