Im 17 im a little overweight and want to get in shape how long do you think it will take to do that

  1. Ryan it depends on how healthy you are what you eat and drink and how well you exercise .. But a good goal would be to loose either one or two pounds a week ... there are 52 weeks in a year so you add up how long that would take .. this will not over exert you're body and give you results in six months ....


  2. NO ONE can tell you how long it will take.

    It all depends how much exercising you do ... and what kind of exercises .....

    It also depends on your diet and what you consume ......

    A Tip: Drink at least 8 - 16 ounce glasses of water every day .

    Don't drink any soda pop ; not even Diet ....

    Good Luck .... why not stop by a local gym and talk to a trainer ; they won't charge you for a few minutes of talk ...
