I get hard but not hard enough to penetrate, im scared that it might be something more than nerves, anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be or treatmant?

It really depends on the situation. It could be medical. It could be nerves, because 17 is still very young, probably too young to appreciate s*x for anything other than physicality. Do you love this girl? Or is she someone you're dating but can't see a future with? Does she make you feel comfortable or loved? Does she make you feel like you're not good enough for her?

Nerves don't necessarily have to be conscious. Perhaps you need to try and see what really turns you on with her. You've just said you were scared it may be more than nerves. Everytime you have s*x it'll be at the back of your mind, so try to focus on enjoying yourself rather than whether you're doing it right.
