Im 18 years old,have been finished school the last 2 months and can not get a job. am i entitled to the dole?

i have been searching for a job and have handed out C.V's in my local town but there are no pssitions available for me as it is now already mid summer...

can you do my job? some people are limited to what they can do. if you have 3 million illegal mexicans taken jobs you now have lost 3 million jobs that could go to hard workn americans.

There is always work for the willing, just not always the kind of jobs you want.  Many employees don't make it a whole summer season and their jobs come open.  I have never lived anywhere that I couldn't find something - I have had to work at telesales, cleaning, and other nasty jobs.  Once you have any job you have a place to springboard from in order to get a better job.  Use every opportunity to make another positive recommendation for yourself and be reliable.  Give two weeks notice and no one can fault you for moving up.

Try very hard to get a job but until you can get a job you will need something to live on so yes go on the dole (unemployment) until you get a job but don't fall into the benefits trap your better off working and people won't at you as if your lazy or bone idol or a scrounger. In my town, it is easy to get a min wage job because most cannot afford the gas to get there.  You can find a job, just keep trying.  Or go to college so the rest of your life will be easier.
