Im 18 years old and don't have a job where should i start looking?

I'm 18 and just finished high school i applied to so many jobs and every time i never get the job, why is that? what should i do know. i need the money for school but the jobs would not hire me , should i just give up and rely on my parents?

Try a mall or a summer camp. Well summer is dwindling down I highly sugggest camp for teenagers. It was my first job out of highschool and was great.

Traditional first jobs include working in restaurants (including fast food,) retail stores, and grocery stores. You have to apply to a lot of places -- it may take 50 before you find one that is willing to hire you. Be  as flexible as you possibly can on the hours you work and the job you will accept. Be sure you complete everything on the application, dress professionally for the interview and make sure you are friendly & personable when interviewing.
