Im 19,have an 8 month old child,never worked,did not finish school.im homless.what can i do to get money right

i only get 400 dollars monthly thru fia. im on the streets.im very smart and have alot going for myself but this world makes it hard for me to get anywhere not having money and a place to stay.i really need help.

First of all you have to stop blaming the world for your troubles.  YOU put yourself in the situation you are in.  YOU chose to have s*x (unless you were raped), You CHOSE to have this baby.  You need to file for child support from the baby's father whether YOU want anything to do with him or not.  Child support is for the child and has nothing to do with YOU, and your child deserves to be supported.   Or you could give the child up for adoption, get yourself a job and support yourself. It is time for you to grow up and stop blaming everyone else for your problems, time for you to take responsiblities for YOUR actions.

Apparently, nobody on here has been to a public library. There are computers people use for free all the time.

But, I assume you are staying with friends or something, since you cannot be on the street with a baby. You need to find somebody to care for the child, or it will be in foster care.

I know most jobs you can get probably won't cover the expense of child care. You need to find a charity or a public program that will provide child care while you work.

I'm not religious, but churches are often good places to go and ask for help.

You need to swollow your pride for a little while. You need to do what's best for your little one. Do you have any family you could stay with? Your mom,dad, aunts,uncles even grandparents. I know its hard sometimes to ask for help. Find out what kind of help your state offers. Like daycare, work placement and cheaper housing. You can do it. im really sorry for you. but first, try getting a job at a fast food place. there not very hard to get, and you get decent pay. do you have any relitives that could maybe watch your baby while you job hunt? its really not a healthy enviorment for a baby to be living on the streets. if you try hard enough, you can make some money to get you though  this hard time. but you really have to try and work herd and want the best for your child.

First of all were is the baby's father? he should pay you child support for your baby,and you can take him to court to make him do that, you can go Thu the court to get you a law er for free so he will have to help you.

If you have know place to stay have you tried a homeless shelter? it will get you off the street's for the night.

you must think of your child and if it is so bad maybe you should put it up for adoption if that is the best thing for the baby or at least find a foster home for it.

I know that sound's mean and I don't mean to but I have 3 children and I just would not put them Thu what you are putting your baby Thu. good luck.

I have been there before and it will not be easy, please understand that.  The first thing I did was secure a low- income house, which in your situation should not be hard because homeless gets in first.  Then I got with some agencies who helped me get furniture.  Then I applied to college.

Wow! I've got to give you props for doing what your doing and making it this far with an 8 month old baby. The first thing you should do is find out where to go for government help. Find out where your local division of family and children office is and tell them what you've told us. They can help you find a job and a subsidized home. If not they can direct you to someone who can. Good luck out there.

Ok ill be totally honest with you. You need to work. I would apply for jobs anywhere you can. If you are smart like you say, then you should have no problem with the applications or the interviews.Clearly you have access to a computer so use this to your advantage. Type up your CV, apply on line etc.

In the meantime seek emergency shelter, or do whatever you can to make sure your child is safe and well, as that is your main priority!

Once you have a job, you can then arrange childcare and housing. It will be hard but it is possible. Just dont give up!
