im 19 years old and ive had my period since i was 12, but it still does not come regularly!!!

like it usually come between 20 to 40 days during my cycle but it sometimes is as long as 50 days! they usually last for 6 to 7 days- sometimes heavy sometimes not...

i thought it may even out after puberty but im getting older now and it shows no sign of evening out.

i do not think its a serious health issue so i havnt gone to the GP for it.

i really just want to know if its the same for other girls aswell or if i should be worried~~thanks any imput to my situation would be much appreciated :)

(btw if your wondering, yes i AM a girl but im just using my bf profile)

  1. This also happened to me and when i went to the GP all he could really do for me is put me on Birth Control so i can finally have regular periods.

  2. Yeah, I'm 22 and mine is all over the place. I am on the pill to keep it regulated because it drives me crazy not knowing WHEN I'll get them. The pill makes them lighter as well, so it might be an idea to see your GP about it. It's nothing to worry about. Everyone is different. Sometimes it can be caused by stress or weight loss/gain and other things. So, if you feel really worried, talking to your GP might ease your mind a bit.

    Good luck!
