Im 19 living in Florida, i dont need to take the Permit test or Driver license?

Question

I just moved to Florida and im confused ..yesterday someone told me that if your 19 you dont need to take the Permit test, and that you can take the Driver License exam immediately.

Ive already took the Drug and Alcohol test and passed...What do i do next???...Im new to driving.

Over 18 years of age you just go and take the test at your local department of motor vehicle office...........
