  1. Monitor your cervical mucus.  When it is stretchy, it's time to start having s*x.  Also, you can monitor your basal body temperature, and use a site such as fertilityfriend.com to help you determine when you are ovulating.  There are also ovulation predictor test kits you can buy at the store.  Good luck.

  2. The first thing is to stop stressing yourself out about it. Your body can tell when you are. Relax and keep trying. I know a few people that went through the same thing you are going through. And it will work out . Don't give up. Talk to a doctor and they will help you . Good luck.

  3. you should be having s*x every other day while trying to conceive. I healthy diet, regular exercise, and no caffeine or tobacco products help fertility.

I also wanted to tell you that if you two have been actively trying for 12 months or more, he should be checked too. Just because he has a child, that doesn't mean everything is okay now. Enlarged veins on the testicles are very common and need surgery to be fixed. It could be so many other things though - he needs to have a sperm analysis.

  4. The first day of your period is day 1.  If you have a regular 28 day cycle then you ovulate roughly between day 12 and day 16 and this would be the best time to try.  If you do not have a 28 day cycle, work out roughly when half way through your cycle would be and try for a few days before during and after this time.  Hang on in there and keep trying but try not to get too stressed the more relaxed you are about it the more chance you have.  It took me 3 years to get pregnant the first time and I now have 5!!  I too was really stressed about not being able to get pregnant and it wasn't until I accepted that it might never happen and started to relax that I did fall pregnant.

Good luck to you and I hope I:ve helped some!  :)
