i know its probably not common, but my mom only weighs like 85 lbs so maybe i just get a really small thin frame from her or could i have internal problems? i workout and have lots of energy and feel great. i even have some pretty nice overall muscle definition and large bicepts, i dont quite have a 6pack yet but im getting there. i dont get how i can weigh so little, especially having muscle too, i thought muscle was heavy.

oh, and i know ill probably get 10 answers saying go see a doctor, i did and he saw me for about 5 seconds and said i was fine. doctors are a waste of time. i want some second opinions on here. thanks alot

i recall reading that eating lots of meat and processed food can make your organs work harder, enlarging them and making them weigh more, and eating a typical american diet can really clog you up with an extra 30-40 lbs lining your intestines.

i only eat clean healthy food i grow in my garden so maybe this has something to do with it?

  1. well if u feel healthy and still energetic that is a good sign.. but in terms of apperance.. i would want to gain some size to see if i can...

u do not have to be huge... but some muscle weight would be nice...

if i were u i would want t get into the 140 range.. u will still be lean and more muscle..

u should do weight training, and eat some more protein so your body can build more tissue.. if u are not eating enough protien, u will not have much muscle... maybe u need more protein as well

  2. You probably have a fast metabolic rate, which will likely slow as you get older.  That means that whatever you put in your body is burned up all the way every day, so you don't gain anything although you might be almost all muscle.  Probably your working out is not helping you get heavier, since you're burning a lot of calories to get that muscle definition.  On the other hand, you could probably eat McDonalds double quarter pounder meals twice a day and not gain an ounce.  Basically, for about the next 20 years, your body's going to burn up whatever it gets.

The good news is you're healthy, you won't be prone to a lot of diseases that more affect heavier people, you will be physically more competent longer because your body isn't carrying extra weight.  Your doctor is right, he just should have taken more time to explain things to you -- so don't worry, try to be happy the way you are -- you're one of the lucky ones!

  3. Some people ar ejust lighter than others. I was 5'8 and 124 lbs at once point.. 6.7% body fat before I started going to the gym and putting on some muscle.. not a lot though just enough to get in shape.. but just working out & gaining some muscle got me to 160 lbs.. it took me 2 years but I don't want to get any bigger but yeah. You're going to have definition at that weight due to the fact that you have not a lot of fat.. at all.

Eat more & work out.. some metabolism's work faster than others.

  4. It's fine mate. If you check the bmi range it's not underweight, it's just on the low end of normal. I'm the same, I'm 19,  5'9" and weigh about 130 I think (60kg). Like you though I'm actually kinda muscular, and i don't really get how guys who look smaller and skinnier than me are actually much heavier.  If you feel good then you're set, and if you feel good and your doc says you're fine then you may as well trust him.

  5. I think u shud feel great will u be my friend id=khalid.yusra@yahoo.com

i hope yes so send me an mail

  6. Please don't worry you are fine. I was fit but thin most of my life and it is ok! Muscle is heavier than fat in water. that is mass weighing! Worry when you are starting to gain weight and not wanting to.

  7. see a doctor,..LOL,..ㅋㅋㅋ,..but a real one,. not korean doctors,.. so,....when did u come back from  your crypt?ㅎ, just kidding,..due care of yourself,...

  8. I weighed 140 at 6'2" and felt great. I joined the military, went to boot camp, gained 35 pounds in the 2 month boot camp, felt 1,000 times better. I'm not saying join the military, but put on more weight (a good muscle to fat ratio) and you'll feel better.

I had a girlfriend that was 5'8" 125 and to think you're smaller than her isn't good.. You're a guy, you're supposed to have size.
