  1. you can retake them at college

    all the best, nipnip

  2. There are alot of private companies out there who you can sit the exams with. ( Just search home learning courses in google) but it will cost hundered of pounds or more. You can contact the Job centre plus team or a similar organisation and you may be able to be given some kind of funding so you don't have to pay for the whole costs yourself.

    Good luck with it.

  3. find a local college or secondary school and im sure they'll point you in the right direction

  4. Check out your nearest colleges, any one can do their gcse's any age

but why on earth didn't you do them in school? =/

  5. Yes it is possible to do gcse's at any age. My friend was taking two gcse's at the age of 33! Check out local collages and adult education centres. Sometimes your local library will have information on where these are. The adult courses are usually in the evening, one evening per gcse. Good luck!

  6. Firstly do you have any other qualifications?

Secondly - it shouldn't take you 5 years to do 5 GCSE's - more like 2 or 3 tops if you're studying part time. Look up 'Adult Education Centres in London' to find places you can study without being surrounded by teenagers.

Also do you have perfect 20-20 vision? I believe this is also a requirement for pilots.

  7. Enquire at your local adult education college. There is no age limit to GCSE's. They run course in the evenings, day release and so forth to suit your needs, and they will enter you for the exams.

If you have other qualifications and are more mature, they may vary trequirementsents which is probably the norm for school leavers.

  8. Save the effort for something worthwhile and do a degree with the Open University - five years will get you a BA or BSc, maybe even Honours if you do two courses in one year.
