  1. You should find an OB/Gyn. They deal with all womanly issues-- even weight. Being under stress could make it hard for you to lose weight. Most people eat more when they're unhappy and exercise less. On the other hand, being overweight can make you feel bad about yourself and put more pressure and stress on you. You could have a thyroid problem as well. But we all know that stress screws up menstrual cycles and is bad for the unborn babies of pregnant women, so try to avoid stress if you're TTC. Instead of focusing on losing weight (which may inadvertently be robbing your body of nutrients), focus on having a healthy lifestyle-- for your whole family. There's an old saying "When momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" and it's sooo true. Make nutritious meal selections for your entire family. Eat vegetables (fresh, steamed, or roasted) with dinner instead of side dishes like mac-n-cheese, stuffing, or mashed potatoes. Find healthy alternatives to family favorites like pizza and tacos. Make them yourself with healthier ingredients. Drink water or fat free milk instead of sodas (even diet is bad) and juice. Instead of counting calories, count transfat, saturated fat, and sodium in your foods. Instead of eating a tasty cake or cookie, eat a low fat rice krispy treat. And spend time outdoors with your family. Go for walks every day after dinner. It's excellent exercise and it's good for your digestion and relaxation. Focus on your health, not your weight or your size. Don't beat yourself up over it either. Enjoy it. It's not a fad diet, it's a lifestyle. And your kids will pick up your habits. So teach them healthy eating habits while they're young so they aren't 125 lbs in 3rd grade. Obesity is common in my family, so everyone blames their genes. But my husband and I eat healthy (I indulge in the occasional ice cream...) and go for walks and I weigh 132 lbs. I'm not going to sit back and let bad health happen to me. And I'm not going to ruin my life with crash diets like my mom did/does. You have to set goals and live one day at a time. I wish you the best of luck!

  2. you need to go to a OBGYN.  I would work on your health first before you consider having another baby.  GO see the OB and see why you haven't had a normal period first.

  3. I recommend an Ob-Gyn.

Just a friendly observation... with so much stress right now, why are you so anxious to get pregnant with a 3rd child?  Is that really the best decision?

(You might want to discuss PCOS with your doc.  1 in 10 women have it.  It can result in missed periods and weight gain.)

  4. You should probably go to a family doctor to check it out. But if you are under a lot of stress lately than it is probably that. Try to lay off the stress and maybe your period will come back to normal and then start trying again.

  5. You should definetly see an OBGYN. Why on earth do you want another kid if you already have 2 under the age of 5? YOU ARE ONE BRAVE SOUL!

  6. I would definitely see an OBGYN! Good luck!
