  1. not at all.  continue for as long as your body can take it.

  2. Dara Torres is 41 yrs old and doing great!   Btw, the Olympics is far too hardcore and competitive to be "just for fun".

  3. nay, you could probably still learn the basic moves. how's your flexibility?

  4. As long as you can do it, go for it.  You are too old for the Olympics though.

  5. No you're not too old, and there should be an olympics category for 25-30 year-olds exclusive,  and 30-40 year olds, 40-50 year-olds, so that there CAN be competition and it's matched to age.

  6. I practiced gymnastics for a year, at the age 15, and I leanred some tricks, such as the split and some others which I don't know the name.

Twenty years later, I restarted to take gymnastics but I could feel couldn't bear too much exercize, and after a year, I didn't gain any more flexibility.

You are inbetween, so you might have more chances of succeeding.

  7. No I don't think so. I'm 25 years old as well and love gymnastics. I competed for a few years until a back injury took me out of gymnastics for good when I was 15.

10 years later I want back in. I'm going to do it so I say go for it. But make sure to start flexibility training now. My injury is still a problem for me today, but I figure....it can't get much worse right?
