Im 26 and have a great career and lovely family life but I want a career change- I want to become a primary school teacher in the UK. Can anyone give there advise how to do this around my current job and family life (basically I can go to classes but not to uni or anything that is full time college) is there a home course? Has anyone studied with the open university?

  1. if u dont have a degree already then u need on, atleast a bachelors....if you want to teach primary grades then you should get it in elementary education....but u cant teach until after you finish the degree and certification....plenty of schools have online degrees for education so you can def do that...once u have some hours in college maybe try sub teaching just to get some experience in the classroom.

  2. ummm... you can take online courses in the subject you wish to teach, and you can take night classes for a BS in teaching. if you want to be a principal, a degree in administration is required...
