Ok so right now my bladder feels like alot of pressure is pushing on it and it has a cramped up kind of kind of feeling. I don't know if that is a contraction or if that is the baby pushing on my bladder. Is the baby just pushing on my bladder and hes giving me that cramp feeling? Its very uncomfortable and it kind of hurts a little but thats it. So my ? is obviously could that feeling just be pressure being pushed on my bladder from the baby or do you think thats a contraction. Does anyone else have this feeling and its just the baby pushing on it?

  1. mostly just pressure from junior getting cramped in a small space.  a contraction generally starts like a period cramp and humps your stomach up on the top of it.  it can even start in the back and come all the way around to the front  it is like a tightening.  if you have four or more in an hour then you should call your doc.

  2. Time them... they could be braxtonn hicks.

  3. It could be pressure on your bladder, it could be braxton hicks contractions (false contractions) or it could be the real thing.  How long does the pain last, and are you able to measure the time between times you feel it.  If you can do so, than continue this for the next few hours, if they are infact contractions, and they grow more in intensity and frequency, contact your doctor.

  4. My baby will push down so hard some times that it hurts to walk and i have to like run to the bathroom cause i have to pee so bad, mainly when he kicks it!! Contractions are when your lower back will hurt and the pain will come around to your front usually starting at the top of your belly and your belly will get so hard all over that you can not push on it and it will hurt, and get worse over time they usually start out around 10 to 15 minutes apart and get closer as time goes on down to 5 minutes where thats the point where its time to go to the hospital but if you move around and they go away they are not real that would be BH contractions which i get them everyday good luck we are almost there i cant wait to have my little one either

  5. When you have this feeling is your tummy rock solid?  Does it only last for 30-60 seconds?

  6. Oh believe me girl, if it were a contraction...you would KNOW it was a contraction. It could just be braxton hicks, or just the position that your baby is in. I was sooo uncomfortable during my last two weeks of my pregnancy. My baby was really long (22 1/2 inches at birth) so he was really stretching me out in there, as I am a pretty petite person. If it were contractions, they would come and go in patterns (ie. every 10 mins, 5 mins, etc.) and they are intense. Not just an annoying pain. Just something that you'll have to put up with until that little one is ready to come out! Good luck sweetie!

  7. it will kinda cramp like a little bit for a while, then it will stop, then it will start again, blablabla

  8. It could be that the baby has dropped further down....maybe putting more pressure on your bladder.  As far as contractions go......when they become the real thing...you will know!

You could be having some braxton hicks...sometimes these are just like dull cramps that come and go.

When I had full blown contractions it felt like someone was squeezing me around the pelvis.....and the pain so intense there and in my back I had to force myself to breath.

  9. im on baby #1 so i really dont know

what i can tell you is that the real thing gets stronger and seem to have a time pattern.

PS...my mom tells me "youll know when its time"

    GOOD LUCK

  10. It could be contractions or it could just be the pressure from the baby.  You're almost there!  Good luck!
