  1. There's things you can try from the research I did on this herbal supplement it is safe but you may talk to your doctor before taking it. you can pick it up at walmart in the herbal area its called evening prime rose oil  they come in large capsules and basically they soften your cervix. they run about 6 bucks a bottle you can take one pill in the morning and then one pill at night or poke a hole in the capsule and insert it at night. you can also try castrol oil but i dont suggest drinking they say if you rub it on your tummy at night itll help cause contractions whether thats true or not i dont know. drinking it can cause serious risks to the baby though and make you sicker then a dog. acupuncture seems to be brought up alot too pinching the web part between the thumb and index finger until you feel a contraction wait 5 min then do again repeat as much as needed. taking long walks is spose to work but not for everyone.. and they suggest s*x but both need to get their satisfaction and he needs to go inside as clean as that could be said. hope some of these help.. i started taking the primerose last night and lost my plug today whether its from that or not i dont know. with my first i was constipated for awhile tried some of those choc. laxatives it says take one and wait 24 hrs i did and nothing so i took another square.. i was miserable on the toilet but it dialated me from a 2 to a 4 in one night. laxatives and stuff like that cause the intestines to contract which sometimes also causes the uteris to contract too.. this only being read on a website but i believe the lax. did somethin for me (not a natural thing though) good luck

  2. walk lots!

walking in hot weather really helps!

i had michael 5 days early cuz i kept walking allover when it was hot out!

but i also walked alot throughout mii pregnany so that might helped..

and someone i knoe had the same due date as me and she never walked always drove everywhere. she was 10 days overdue

  3. Everything is fine ;) I was born 3 weeks later then expected...! Don't worry, nowadays doctors tend to induce way before that :P

Worst case scenario, you'll get induced which is not a big deal.

But don't worry about anything cause your baby is probably normal and fine and just enjoying the comfort of your womb ;)

  4. if this is your first baby then it is normal. and sometimes with your other ones but normally with your first you are more likely to be over due the on time. it is okay just relax your doctor wont let you go over two weeks overdue they will induce you you should be fine to give birth normally if you werent then your doctors would have told you by now

  5. the baby is just not ready yet you still have about another week before your doctor will induce you good luck

  6. don't worry he's jsut not ready to come out , my daughter was 6 days late but don't worry they won't let you pass 41 weeks here lateste they can let you is 42 weeks then they will induce labour and if he doesn't you'll jsut have a c -section, but with my daughter i never had contractions or lost of mucous plug.. or water breakage.. contractions started the day i gave birth ..and they had to break my water... so relax take it easy walk and you'll have her in no time

  7. oh my gosh u have to feel so bad im pregnant with # 5 and i always go around 37 weeks i couldnt imagine 40 weeks...they will prob induce ur labor here soon...good luck w/everything!

  8. Just be patient... there may be a chance you could get induced but that doesn't mean you won't have the baby vaginally. The baby may be able to come down and all that but just isn't ready to yet.

  9. The due date is always just an estimate. Just cause it hasent happened YET doesnt mean you cant go into labor even tonight and have a normal delivery. I wouldnt worry. I do feel ya though, i'm getting induced tomarrow (12 days past my due date!)

  10. It's just not your time yet.  You could still have a week to go.

  11. If your concerned you should ask your dr!

  12. Your doctor knows the answer best to your concerns.

  13. Setting the due date for a baby can easily be off by 2 weeks one way or the other.  This is not at all unusual.  Almost everyone is 1 cm dilated for many weeks before they deliver...it is not significant.  As long as you are healthy and the baby is kicking..and you see the doctor every week...you will be fine.  A few women go as long as 42 weeks.

  14. You should still get contractions even if he is in a difficult position.  He's probably just not ready yet, docs normally give you a week or two (at the most) to come naturally.  If you havent already talk to your doc about your concerns- and ask him what he thinks.  They will check it out to see if baby is the right way to come naturally.

    Good liuck

  15. There is nothing wrong, especially since your doctor has not said otherwise to you about the baby.

With my first daughter I was due on August 22 and ended up having her on the 25th..today is her bday WOO...anyway With my second daughter I was 1 day shy of being 2 weeks overdue. Both girls came out PERFECTLY fine,it just wasn't there time to come out yet...they didn't want to come out until they are ready and my guess is your little bundle of joy is getting a kick out of making you wait longer for him. I don't think its right for you aunt to scare you like that tho considering they are millions of woman who go over their due date and have perfectly healthy babies in a perfectly normal way. When he feels like its time to greet the world...He'll let you know. Due date are just educated guesses they are not exact at all...they can be off by up to 2 1/2 weeks so don't worry!

    Best of Luck
