  1. My doc said that if I hadnt delivered by 40 weeks then he would put me in a week later. As far as 1 1/2 cm, that's normal. I would wait till friday, unless you feel the need to go sooner. Good Luck & Congrats!

P.S. I was told to walk alot. And docs go by your last period so really you are possibly only 38 weeks pregnant.

  2. its normal, walk around a lot....if the baby still hasnt come out in 41th or 42nd week, the doctor will have to pull it out or do C birth.

  3. It is normal to deliver late. Most healthy babies arrive ten days after an estimated due date. Today so many women and so many doctors are so anxious we are rarely seeing normal gestational length anymore.

It is normal to be dilated. First-time mothers often need 42 weeks for their baby to be fully ready to come out and meet you for the first time.

You will experience many strange things as your body prepares to give birth over the next while. The pressure you are feeling is probably from your baby dropping which is normal. You should have more room to breath now. Wait until your labor begins automatically for the best result for both you and baby. This will give you a safe and gentle childbirth. Best wishes, G

  4. Don't worry... some women do deliver late. My friend's brother was a whole month late (this was back in the day when doctor's allowed you to go that long) Generally when the baby is ready to come out she'll come out.. force you into labor. If you haven't gone into full blown labor in the next couple of days your doctor might opt to break your water and induce labor. Or you could try having s*x. An o****m can induce labor and there are enzymes in sperm that can help you out as well.

As far as the peeing is concerned... remember that baby is laying right on top of your bladder... it can get a little complicated.

Don't worry.. your due date is just a guesstimate.. you'll be fine. Good luck and congratulations!!
