  1. get in touch with nursing recruitment agencies and see if you still have what they need... and if you are a bit out of touch, then see about extra training... IF you want to go back into nursing...

  2. You are experienced in life ,why not try a job were you can help young

mums who are struggling in life . I'm sure you would find that rewarding Good on you for putting your family first

  3. WHooaa my congratulations for putting family first. How many of us do that anymore.Well what would u like to do? Don't get into anything you're not going to enjoy.Making a living is one thing. making a life is another. What do you think u can do that will meke u happy first and money second. U can do anything u want but are u going to enjoy doing it. The richest, most successful people in the existence of mankind did what they enjoyed first and fate designed it into aliving. Seach inside first then go look outside.

  4. Perhaps take a college course or go to a local job centre and see if they have any courses available that will suit you in order to get you back in work.

Even if you only start by taking a part time course in order to get you used to doing some work. Also, you could perhaps take up voluntary working even if its only in a reception of an hospital or something..this will give you experience and I'm sure considering you're volunteering they will be able to train you up.

Perhaps look for local volunteering agencies in you're home town.

    Good luck

  5. Go to school to become a nurse, that is what i did but i am only 26, its possible

  6. school

  7. If you have any training in nursing you shouldn't have any trouble finding work. Depending on your training you may have to start as an aid however. Still if you haven't finished school do so. Nurses are in high demand and the pay is great.

  8. I am younger than you but am also returning to study. You need to study in order to get a good job. I am doing a full time course in humanities and social science. You need to decide what you want to be, then go for the relavent courses. Now is the time to enrol for the new term.

  9. Contact the medical  board; they could give you further information.

  10. can you not try and get a position offering a paid apprenticeship or something like that?

not having money could be hard if you want to go back to college or whatever.

failing that, apply for a job and see what happens! whats the worst theyr going to say?

  11. Okay, first, get off Yahoo Answers!! Go toa community college, like McCann's or something. That way you can come home every night, so it's like a job...gone for the day and home in the evening. Do well there and start applying for jobs. Good luck!

  12. try care work.  Not the agencies or homes, in which staff are underpaid and under-valued, but try an excellent, reknowned organisation called CROSSROADS (look at their website).  They have approx 200 branches in U.K., provide training, qualifications, and have decent rates of pay with travel allowance
