  1. Your problem is..you cant "retire" in Thailand as you are still too young....you can only get a retirement visa once you reach 50.

Your only option is try the visa run route...ie on Type O's and visa waiver.

For people under 50...options in Thailand are pretty limited....

Get a job there, set a company up and get a work permit etc..

The other option is the Thaielite card which is THB 1.5million and will get you a 5 year renewal "visa"...for life...but is an expensive option

  2. 22.3400 ($???)....a month.....???? What kind of algebra is that ?????????

Sorry, I'm teasing you ! I know it's not funny. Well, 3.400 per month is not bad...! Especially in Thailand...!

  3. i don't know, but i appreciate that you served your country. you deserve retiring in Thailand man, sorry i couldnt answer your question, i just had to post this.

  4. Get on a plane

  5. Passport and me!

  6. You should ask this question in the 'Thailand' section of Yahoo Answers.  And you will get some answers from people who probably know more than I know about this:

I think you need to be at least 50 years of age in order to get a renewable one-year visa for stay in Thailand.   Your income is more than enough to fulfill their immigration requirements.  But you are a little too young.

Another way way to get a renewable one-year visa is to marry a Thai woman.  And in that case your young age wouldn't be a problem in terms of getting the visa.

  7. I'm not sure, but thank you for your service!
