Im 5' just started snowboarding, just wondering what size board to buy.?

Ask the people at the shop, they are experienced in that area, unless you're planning to get one from K mart.  I don't recommend that though because the people who run Ski and Snowboard shops are professionals, whereas the people at K mart haven't a clue.

4'2" maybe. it should touch your chin.

Don't let anyone fool you with their "it should reach your chin" garbage. Your board size (length and width) should be chosen on width of your feet, your weight (along with the boards stiffness), terrain and personal preferance. Many boards have sizing chart sticker on the bottom of the board which board stiffness is accounted for. good luck

a board should be between your mouth and your collarbone. if you ride the park more often, get a smaller board, and if you ride powder, get a longer board.

Get one that comes up to your nose...about 4'9" i think for you.
