  1. At 5'2 that is not a healthy weight. You should be n the 120-140 range depending on age and muscle tone/build.  I work out daily including weights and 40 min of cardio and at 5'3 I weight 140.  I am fit, but have alot of muscle.

  2. I don't like the word fat but according to the BMI chart you are obese.

You shouldn't worry about it just try to eat 5portions of fruit/veg, proteina and carbohydrates and even a little fat. Also drink 2litres of water per day. You can have treats just limit them but don't set a strict diet as 99% of people fail and regain more weight then you lost.

Exercise 30 minutes everyday and try to walk more and take the car less.

  3. yes very.

  4. I'm 5'9" and i'm 170lbs. I have a little extra weight in front of me. So what do you think?

Yes you are fat. The question now is what do you do about it? Gain more or loose some. If you're asking the question am I fat? Than that means you're not happy with the way you look, you're not happy with yourself, and not comfortable within your skin. Be happy! And do things that make you happy.

  5. Yes, unless you are super muscular.

Typical weight range for 5ft2 is 105lb-135lb.

  6. If you're bulk than probably you're normal. However if you're not musclar you're considered very obese. :\

  7. let me put it 2 u this way: im 5'7 and i weigh 119lbs

  8. Muscle weighs more than fat hun. What age, pant size, shirt size are you? If you don't want to share that its fine.

  9. It depends on how you are built. I have a friend who is a personal trainer. She is 5'5", 150lbs and in a size 5. I'm 5'3" 142lbs, and in a size 7. According the the BMI, she's overweight and I'm borderline, and she looks way better than me (but I'm not bitter!). The truth is, nothing matters as long as you're healthy and happy with the way you look. I hope this helps.

  10. Yes...

I'm 5'9" and I weigh that, but I am also losing so soon I will be less!

  11. uh yeah!

  12. no offense but ya

  13. I'm five eight and I weigh one thirty five. And I'm trying to lose about fifteen pounds.

    So, I would say so.

  14. yeah..you have to be like 5'6 to be 164 lbs.

  15. yes technically you are considered obese. your height and weight are not in good proportion to each other.  very unhealthy. hopefully you are young and can turn yourself into a healthy lifestyle.

  16. i'm 5'8 and 160 and i feel fat... so yes. you are VERY fat... you need to weigh around 120 or less

  17. yeah. actually your not just fat, youre obese. start eating healthy and exercising before you develop serious health conditions.

  18. you are in fact morbidly obese.

  19. yes. but depends your build it culd be muscle

    dont look at weight

    look at you

see if you like the look or not!

  20. It would probably be good for you to get a little more active and lead a healthier life style.

Keeping a food journal really does help.  It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days.  Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.

Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish.   Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts.  Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.  Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses a day, and more if it is very hot, it you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely. You will begin to see changes in your body.
