Question:

Im 5-6 and i can grab rim and i jump rope 6 times a week and starting air alert 2 how long before i can dunk?

  1. This pretty normal for someone of your stature. Dunking is a very hard thing to accomplish and requires great talent. Just keep practicing and keep working on your leg muscles and it could be feasible by your junior year.


  2. If air alert is the right program for you, you could be dunking in a couple months. However, often times air alert is not effective due to a lack of strength. You may be better off doing a strength program ifr st or in combination. Read this http://verticalleaptraining.blogspot.com

  3. If you continue to practice your leap and strengthen your legs, you will be dunking and smashing the rim at the age of 19.

    Work the calf muscle with squats,run the stadium stairs and look up this machine called the leaper on the internet.

    By the time you're 19 is BS you could be jamming in less than a yr dude!!!!!!!!!!! Here is what I did at your age and height!

    Start of with a tennis ball and get comfortable with an assortment of jams, then small nerf like basketball same thing, then a volleyball same thing, then a small basket ball and just graduate to the real thing!

    In little or no time you'll be slamming so hard you'll wake the devil up!
