I have been using a 165 cm snowboard and have size 13 boots. I have been told the board is to long and my boots stick over the edge quite a bit. What should I do ???

  1. you can trade in your old board for money and buy a new one.get a wider board such as the burton bullet, custom wide, custom ICS wide (http://burton.com/Gear/Default.aspx#/men... they are made specifically for wider feet. heres a sizing chart you may find helpful:

    freestyle: 160cm

    freeride: 162cm

you would want a board width between: 259 and 265 (262 is recommeded)

for future references on sizing use this site: http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-gui...

    good luck!

  2. buy new ones

  3. get a new shorter(162?mayb) wider board

  4. they make wide boards for larger feet.  I wear a size 12 and don't have any problems with my board.

  5. im 6 3 170 lbs and have size 12 feet....depending on the style of riding that you do you can get a board from 157 to 162... and for those big feet find boards that are labeled wide or mid-wide for the best results.

  6. You definitely need to get a wide board.  I'm a hair taller and heavier than you, and I ride a 156 board and a 159 for powder. I think that a narrower board would be better because it is more maneuverable.

My first board was a Nitro Revolt 159 and this year I sacled down to a 156 Santa Cruz Largo and a 159 Santa Cruz Twinza J Fish for powder.

If you have to ride a narrow board for park and pipe, Palmer and Burton make risers so you won;t get heel/toe drag.

Check The House for a large selection of wide boards

  7. Get a wider board, or adjust the angle of your  bindings so that your foot has more room length-wise. You should go to a shop that sells that type of equipment and ask them what suggestions they might have, since I'm sure you are not the first person that has had this type of problem.

  8. Use a 160 board and buy a brand that has a wider "waist"...there are plenty out there, but you need to go stand on a few at a local board shop. The people there will be happy to fit you to a board...then go online and buy one.
