  1. At 6'4 inches and only weighing in at 164 pounds you will have a major size and power advantage over other fighters in your weight class.

If you can learn how to box and dont have a glass jaw you should do pretty good.

  2. pretty good your really large as a middleweight/supper middle weight,i'm 5'9" 161 lbs and i hate boxing taller guys,6'1 guys give me trouble, good luck, boxing's tough.

  3. I think you just need to gain some weight. The most important thing though is to train hard. The sky is your limit.

  4. I'm no expert or box. But I think that you're too light? My 14 yr old cousin weighs like 190 and he doesn't even box. =D

  5. all depends on if ur willing to but the work in ur club..!!

  6. man u can do it as long as u fight who they pull in front of u an have heart u got this alot of boxer run from everyone and are afraid to fight guys.

  7. just coz ur 6'4 doesnt't mean you hav a power advantage over you opponents, and it all depends if you can box, how long have you boxed, what's your record etc u sound like you want to be told you gonna be a champ, go out and do it, stop looking for praise

  8. you have a great chance just maintain your weight between 160lbs and 168lbs. check out Eric Regan he  is the same body type so don't gain any weight

  9. What you have given us isn't very much to go on.  How old are you?  Have you started training for boxing?  You are quite light for your height.  You must be very tall and thin.  If you're under about 16 years old, you can expect to gain weight.

Being tall and thin is fine, because you will have a longer reach than most of your opponents.  You will have to use it to make sure they don't get inside and tear your body apart.

Your height and weight alone have nothing to do with your prospects for eventually becoming a champion.  The key is your interest in the sport and your willingness to put training, both basic physical training and learning the skills, ahead of everything else in your life.  Yes, I mean everything, if you really want to be a champion.
