  1. It means nothing. Symptoms (especially anything significant) will not typically show up until after your period is already late. At 8 dpo, the egg will have barely implanted and your body will probably not had enough time to make enough of the pregnancy hormone that would cause symptoms to start.

Some women will swear the had all sorts of symptoms VERY early on, but I tend to doubt them. I think they are either letting their minds run away with them, or they are possible interpreting regular monthly stuff to be a sign of pregnancy - which you can't do, since PMS and pregnancy symptoms are very similar early on. It could even be that they always have slightly sore b*****s (for example) as a part of PMS, but don't notice it because it is so subtle and they are used to it. But then when trying to get pregnant, suddenly they are searching and digging for ANY little thing they can - and so they notice the sore b*****s and think it is a sign. And if they do end up pregnant, they assume it was a sign, when that may not be the case.

Anyways try not to over analyze things because it will drive you nuts. Wait it out until you can take a pregnancy test because that will be the only way to know for sure.

  2. Not at all, with my first daughter the only symptom I ever got was sheer exhaustion and that didn't kick in until I was like 5-6 weeks pregnant, and I am now 7 weeks pregnant with #2 and I have Never had sore b***s or nausea or anything. With this one I have just been really tired and gassy...that's it. Some women are lucky enough not to get any of "the typical pregnancy symptoms," it doesn't mean that you are not pregnant. On the flip side some women get every pregnancy symptom in the book and find out they are not pregnant...so it definitely is not a for sure thing, So don't count yourself out yet, wait a few more days then take a test, that's how you know for sure! I wish you the best!
